Hi and happy Monday to you! This morning I woke up bright and early at 6am- ready to take on a new week! The early sun was also welcomed. I meant to re-cap this weekend for you last week and forgot! So this is a little late but still worth sharing- my last two weekends.
I have been blessed with a friend who I met my freshman year in college and 12 years later I am blessed to watch her be a mom. My friend Victoria.
Baby Lucas came into the world a little over a month ago and I was able to spend the weekend with both of them. He is such a precious baby and already full of so much life.
We escaped to Lady Bird on Friday morning for a delicious brunch. If you visit Atlanta, Lady Bird is a must try. These enormous sticky buns + avocado toast were so delicious.
We also had a girls night out and popped into see our good friend Rob in Little Five Points. On the right is a Lee University reunion, we have some good stories from the college days. It was so fun to reminisce and share a drink with old friends.
I always miss Atlanta when I go back to visit. Not only for the friends and family I hold there dearly but the city is just more alive and has more to offer than when I lived there. We had a great weekend which also included: Pizza, Sex & the City, a bonfire with treasured chats, fries with specialty dips at Argosy, shopping at Ponce City Market & cuddles with baby Borges. Overall, a wonderful weekend with my friend.
Victoria also introduced me to Califia Farms creamer. We use the milk for our smoothies but this creamer was a nice little addition to my morning coffee. I usually drink my coffee black but sometimes I like a little flavor and this is a perfect milk substitute.
Last weekend was a special date night with my love to Kitchen on George. Mobile locals if you haven’t visited you must! Their farm to table menu is amazing and their specials never disappoint.
Pomegranate martini for me!
The weather cooled down here last weekend and we snuck out onto the porch for a little fire- cozied up in booties and a thick blanket. I will miss this when we move.
Stop back in this week for a Wellness Wednesday post!
