Good morning! Happy Monday to you all. I know Monday’s are a drag because they mean a slap in the face back to reality and the work week, but try to find something to look forward to this week! Maybe it’s a walk to a local frozen yogurt shop with a friend or a 30 minute at home spa treatment of a face mask, pedicure and manicure? If anything take some time for you this week. I was encouraged by Alex’s post over on The Wonder List to Get Back to the Basics and I want to encourage you to the same!

One of my favorite ways to unwind is in the mornings over a new magazine and coffee, which I did on Saturday morning. Grapefruit on the side.

We are moving from South Florida today. Over the next week we will be moving and stopping along the way to see Darin’s family so I will probably not be updating for a little while. But I will try to take pictures along the way!


Also, I wanted to share the goodies I received from my Foodie Pen Pal Bridget this month. She had no idea how much I love Trader Joe’s and sent me snacks and goodies from there!

In the snack mix:

  • Apple Cinnamon Crunch Sticks
  • Peanut Butter Filled Pretzels
  • Pita Chips
  • Dark Chocolate Covered Power Berries

These were definitely my favorite and Darin’s too 🙂

Just to give you some motivation, I didn’t want to wake up this morning and workout but I knew once I got out there I would be glad I did. Mornings are rough as far as motivation goes to work out but if you set your alarm and have your clothes set out and ready to go the night before, you will most likely do it! I set out for my last run down here. I will miss these palms.

I did a speedy 2 mile run and it was perfect weather, sunny and breezy.

I came home and did this workout below from Zuzana. It’s called This Is Sweat! and it focuses on your core, arms and legs. It is only 10 minutes and will leave you wiped out at the end!
