Good evening! Today has been eventful to say the least. I thought it was going to be a more relaxing Monday and getting things done around the house. I spent about an hour meal planning, writing out my grocery list, etc. I did this workout below from Zuzana to kick start my metabolism for the day. It is a 10 Minute AMRAP (as many reps as possible) and will kick your butt.
After showering and getting ready to go grocery shopping, I grabbed the trash and walked outside. I reached in my purse to grab my phone and it slipped right out of my hand and onto the concrete. Concrete + IPhone = shattered phone. I could tell you that the day got better from here, but it didn’t. However, I won’t bore you with my sob story. Poor little girl who doesn’t know how to take care of an Iphone!! (Did I mention this is my 4th shatter? Oh yeah, it is. Don’t feel sorry for me.) Needless to say I’m getting an Otterbox and am thankful for phone insurance.
Back to meal planning, here are the meals I have planned for the week. I will be sharing different recipes throughout the week, except for tonight’s because it is for a heart health project I am working on. I will be sharing this with you Thursday!
- Monday- Honey Sesame Salmon with Asparagus & Brown Rice
- Tuesday- Chicken Satay Stir Fry with Veggies & Quinoa
- Wednesday- Spicy Tilapia Tacos with Avocado & Tomato
- Thursday- Sweet Chile Turkey Burgers + Roasted Veggies
- Friday- BBQ Wings + Sweet Potato Wedges
- Saturday- Out to eat
- Sunday- Leftovers/Salad
I cleaned up my fruit and veggies with the Pesticide wash.
