Monday Motivation

Sometimes I don’t mind Monday’s because it helps me get back in a routine and get focused. While I do miss the sleeping in and watching unlimited Sex and the City re-runs, I love the consistency of being on a schedule during the week. After doing butt work-outs yesterday, today was Tank Top Ready Arms.


When I got to the gym this little basket of joy greeted me:

I heart Larabar and the manager told me to take as many as I wanted. Obviously not many people like them there, more for me!

I did a 10 minute warm-up on the treadmill followed by this workout that focused on Triceps, Biceps and Shoulders. I starred some of the workouts below that you may not know. I finished this workout with a 10 minute interval on the cycle machine.

I whipped up a quick dinner when I got home inspired by these Cilantro Turkey Burgers. I made them with Ground Chicken instead.
On the side: fresh tomatoes, sun-dried tomato hummus and some guacamole I whipped up with avocado, cilantro, onion, salt, garlic and lime juice. Yum.
They were so delicious and flavorful plus so easy to whip up. Let me know if you try them!

What keeps you motivated? How do you stay focused on your goals?

I have so many desires and dreams but I let everyday life distract me from the big things. I want to focus more of my energy on letting the little everyday life things turn into big dreams.
