Good evening 🙂 I hope that you are having a wonderful week so far! While I did indulge in some yummy eats with the family, I was still able to fit in my fitness over the weekend.
My run in the mountains on Friday.
These hills and the heat were rough but I felt great after, as I always do! It’s always the step out the door that gets me. Once I’m out there I never regret a run.
Saturday was a rest day and I definitely “rested” aka drank beer and hung out on a boat.

I love running out here in the country. I wish this was my view everyday.
Monday I did Fitnessista’s Summer Shape-Up Week 2 Workout. It was killer and I’m sore today from it. Check it out here. How do you like to stay active during vacation?
I know realistically I’m not going to work out everyday but I try to be active in some way during vacation to stay consistent.
I tried to start out Monday morning with a healthy breakfast to re-boot my system from the weekend. Two farm fresh eggs over wheat thin toast and blueberries on the side. Yum.
Our family cat, Mazie, tried to sneak a bite.
She clearly needs some food, poor thing.
